What is a personal LOUDspeaker
With a personal loudspeaker only one person can listen to music, audio, etc. In this respect this principle is similar to listening with headphones.
Why should the ESL HOME be placed very close to the listening position
The balanced reproduction is achieved when the ESL HOME is positioned close to the listener. A greater distance to the listener (as with loudspeakers usual) would add interferences to the original sound. A closer installation distance (up to 1 meter) helps to avoid this.
can two people listen to the speaker together
No, you can not. The full stereo enjoyment is only possible for one person.

Echoes, room resonances or indirect sound reflected from walls and ceilings are all inconveniences of the room acoustics. The direct sound of the ESL Home is not influenced by this close type of installation, as if you were wearing headphones. |

 The height can be adjusted individually
From the base protrudes a chrome-plated tubular steel, at the other end the transducer is mounted. Both the height and the angle of the 50 x 30 centimeter acoustic element can be individually adjusted to a listening position - angle-scales assists with proper alignment. The optimum listening distance is 60 to 100 centimeters, the flat sound-transducers should be set equiangular. A wall or solid furniture in the back of the listener leads to a balanced sound image.

In each case a connection box for the amplifier and the power supply is located on the front respectively rear side. The unused terminal is covered with a shield.
